Abstract : The Dipole Pride 26 test program conducted 04-21 November at the Nevada Test Site Yucca Flat constituted Phase II of the Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) Transport and Dispersion Model Validation Program. Dipole Pride 26 was conducted to acquire a puff dispersion database over mesoscale (5-25 km) distances for validation of integrated mesoscale wind field and dispersion models, in particular the Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) model suite. The test program consisted of 23 sulfur hexafluoride puff releases into the atmosphere with crosswind sampling lines at distances of 5 to 25 km downrange, providing information on puff crosswind and along wind dimensions, and peak concentration. Of the 23 puff releases, 17 provided useful puff dimension information at one or more sampling lines. This report summarizes Dipole Pride 26 puff and micrometeorological data. The entire data set is available on compact disk.
