Theoretical Basis of Commutation Theory for Partial Clones

We establish the theoretical basis for the study of commutation theory for partial clones. In order to achieve this purpose, we define partial operations, partial clones and commutation for partial clones. Then we study some basic properties arising from these fundamental concepts.
