LWIR image simulation method using Vega software

Using the real IR images as the input and segmentioning them afterwards create different materials regions. Then SGI Onyx2 super image station and the visual software MultiGen and Vega can be used to simulate and produce the LWIR images with different materials in different season, weather and time. The interior map function of simulation result is solved and corresponding radiance data is acquired. The produced radiance data are then used as inputs to simulate the actual infrared image in order to get the final scene images using the real IR radiance data.
