In this study, engineering and engineering education have been described. Qualified engineering education, expected features of engineers of the future, adaptation of new technologies, the importance of theory and practice in education have been stressed. Technology faculties have been mentioned which opened in 2009 and started to engineering education. Issues have been emphasized which are required for a good engineering education can be carried out, various informations have been given which related to agencies that inspect engineering and technology education programs. Labor force analysis has been performed by mentioning some problems which emerge in engineering education according to graduated persons.
