Electricity Bill Detection using Machine Learning

As energy demand increase globally, the energy management system is becoming increasingly important. All the existing studies are mainly focus on developing most the accurate predictions algorithm to plan and use the energy consumption at different levels of management. For example home appliances , industrial applications etc. In this paper, we propose a method to predict energy demand in various situations using machine learning with help of a powerful tool “python” and the energy consumption of applicants are collected from the current and voltage sensors and Data are controlled by the microcontroller and it is transmitted to raspberry pi with the help of a wi-fi module.  A data set is created in a csv format.  Data like date and time, current in Kilo Watt hour and then Device Id which are collected from the aurdino micro controller. These details are driven to the knn model and it is going to predict the energy values from the given data. It was being compared with the target value of the user if the power consumption than the target value it is notified to the user.
