High-energy, diode-pumped CPA to the Joule-level based on Yb-doped materials

We present the latest progress in developing a diode-pumped, Yb:YAG CPA pump laser. A pulse energy of 300mJ at a 10Hz repetition rate and close to 1J at 1Hz could be demonstrated.
