Research on emergency logistics: Situations and development trends

The paper described the features of the emergency logistics and its role in emergency management under the cognition of characteristics of public emergency. It elaborated the three phases of researches and the situation both in China and internationally. Next, it is summarized that the current emergency logistics researches focus on the aspects of the organization, operation and control, the technical support as well as the policies and legislations. Finally, the paper pointed out the trends of emergency logistics research.
