Multi-Peak Maximum Power Point Track Control Method of Photovoltaic System

In case that the photovoltaic(PV)system is partially blocked,the PV components connected in series and with a bypass diode,show produce the multi-peak output characteristics.To obtain the global maximum power point,the maximum power point track(MPPT)is needed.Based on the single-peak MPPT control algorithm,this paper proposes a new multi-peak MPPT control method to track the maximum power point via four steps.The key point of this algorithm is obtaining the valley values of the output characteristics,which can make it convenient to get the boundary and search for the point in the multi-zone.Validity of the proposed control algorithm proves is demonstrated throughtrue by simulations of actual cases.
