Remotely Reconfigurable Remote Node for Hybrid Ring-Tree Passive Optical Networks

An improved passive remote node (RN) configuration for hybrid ring-tree passive optical networks is presented. This novel RN is remotely reconfigurable allowing minimizing the total power in the fiber and increase resilience to
