Étude et optimisation d'un générateur photovoltaïque pour la recharge d'une batterie avec un convertisseur Sepic

This thesis presents a study on a solar battery charger with a tracker of the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) which was implemented in order to optimize the energy efficiency. The interface between the solar panel and the battery was carried out using a SEPIC DC-DC Converter controlled by a "PIC18F1220"the microcontroller. With the method Perturb & Observ (P&O), the MPPT algorithm senses the solar panel voltage and current to calculate the power. Using the obtained result, the MPPT algorithm adjusts the converter duty cycle to bring the system to maximum power operating point.
