Human-Exoskeleton Joint Misalignment: A Systematic Review

Powered exoskeletons are gaining increasing attention in both assistance and rehabilitation fields. The misalignment between human and exoskeleton joints is an inevitable challenge that may hinder the user’s safety, comfort, and assistance efficiency while wearing the exoskeleton. This paper presents a systematic review of the latest research studies on joint misalignment, its effects, and the solutions proposed to deal with, in the literature.
