PRIORITIZATION OF SEISMIC REINFORCEMENT FOR ROAD BRIDGES BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF LIFE CYCLE COST

This paper proposes a methodology to support decision making for prioritization seismic reinforcement of existing structures based on the concept of Life Cycle Cost taking into account seismic risk. The paper applies the methodology to actual road bridges in Hanshin Expressway Public Corporation as an example and the applicability of this methodology is examined.
