Intelligent mobility: Toward a combined PT/IUV transportation system

The mobility process is still evolving according to new technologies spread and their deployment in urban traffic management. It consists on combining public transportation modes and intelligent urban vehicles (IUV) in a multimodal context. This requires coordination between management services and a regulation process based on optimization algorithms. In this paper we present the challenges of an intelligent mobility, and we present a normalized architecture of combined transportation system made of public transportation (PT). We detailed the constraints and the criteria that the intelligent mobility system require and we propose a fuzzy evaluation tool Choquet integral in order to support decision makers in their choice of the exploitation strategy in the regulation process.
