A new series resonant DC link PWM inverter

This paper proposes a new series resonant DC link PWM inverter. The proposed inverter can have smaller inductance than the conventional series resonant inverter, and be also applied as soft-switched AC/AC or AC/DC converter easily. The output control is used by the PWM control method, they can be controlled precisely. This paper describes the configuration, the operation, the design, the computer simulation and the basic experimental results of the proposed circuit.
