Augmented Reality Applied to Reducing Risks in Work Safety in Electric Substations

Activities that involve electric energy are among the most dangerous and most harmful to the worker they perform. Therefore, the general objective of this work is to develop a virtual reality application that simulates the use of augmented reality technology as a means of access guidance and safety instructions with electric substation operators/maintainers. For this purpose, a newsletter, a simplified 3D electrical substation was modelled for experimentation in virtual reality and, thus, to evaluate a user experience regarding the use of the prototype and define what are the main requirements that can be used for the construction of the final
