Modernization of Existing Machines

Chapters 3 and 4 described the methods of assessing the technical condition of surface mining machines and the potential consequences in cases of damage or failure of structural elements. The obtained information about its condition serve as the basis for decisions regarding the future use of the machine. Many machines that are currently in operation are undergoing modernizations. The purpose of such modernizations is to fully restore the functionality of these machines, to extend their lifetime and improve their operational parameters.
