Presented is an illustration of polarimetric weather radar antenna calibration using the computational electromagnetic model. Process is illustrated with the all mathematical concepts required to carry the calibration out. Concept is adapted to use results of numerical simulations which is part of the paper's novelty. The paper evaluates the accuracy of WIPL-D software for polarimetric weather radar calibration use and illustrates behavior calibration parameters. Additionally a roadmap of polarimetric phased array calibration is proposed.
