Seismic Analysis of Cable-stayed Bridges Subjected to Multiple-support Excitation

The dynamical analysis of a cable-stayed bridge. is discussed First, theoretical aspects of multiple-support excitation applied to cable-stayed bridges are introduced. Then, time-history analyses are performed to obtain the modes which participate most significantly in the bridge's force response and to obtain the locations at which maximum forces can be expected over the duration of an earthquake. All analyses are completed for uniform and multiple-support excitation.
