Medical Informatics Europe ’90

An overview of the objectives of the project CAMARC (Computer Aided Movement Analysis in a Rehabilitation Context) will be given. This is a European project supported by the European Community in the context of the AIM (Advanced Informatics in Medicine) Programme. These objectives are mapped onto the main problems that hinder the clinical diffusion of the Movement Analysis techniques. An example of CAMA (Computer Aided Movement Analysis) system for the study of postural stability will be discussed. The relationships among its functions and the objectives of CAMARC will be shown. The software tool named "Friendly Interface" for the implementation of the CAMA system will be described.
