DAgora : A Flexible , Scalable and Reliable Object-Oriented Groupware Platform

In this paper we describe a flexible, scalable, and reliable "object-oriented groupware platform" specially tailored as a foundation to support synchronous, asynchronous, and multi-synchronous groupware applications. The platform relies on an hybrid replication approach where volatile object s are actively replicated to support synchronous interaction, and persistent object s are lazily replicated to meet scalability and availability requirements.
