A Scalability Framework for Reliable Services

In service-oriented computing, service consumers subscribe published services, and service providers deploy and manage services. Due to the heterogeneity of services, and high evolvability of services, services can suffer from reliability. This paper presents a scalability-based approach to providing reliable services. We first define the architecture of the proposed framework, and provide a process for applying scalability engineering for enhancing reliability of services.
