Impact of alfa-factor on SOA dynamic range for 20 GBd BPSK, QPSK and 16-QAM Signals

Impact of SOA α-factor on dynamic range limitation decreases for higher-order modulation formats leading to undistinguishable performances of bulk and QD SOAs. Results are supported by experiments at 20 GBd BPSK, QPSK and 16-QAM.
