Lattice dynamics of the Pd-1% Fe alloy

Phonon dispersion curves for the Pd-1 at% Fe alloy, along the directions [100], [110] and [111] have been measured. The Born-von Karman analysis of obtained data has exhibited the uniquely dominated role of interactions with the first nearest neighbour atoms in the lattice dynamics of this alloy.
