Secure trust management for mobile platforms

Smartphones change the way we use the Internet. No longer are we limited to media consumption, but participation in Social Media etc. allows us all to become media producers. Moreover, with its computing power and network connectivity, the smartphone can become a peer in a peer-to-peer based content delivery network. Securing property rights to the media must be part of such sharing and propagation. This paper explores the capabilities available to the mobile smartphone platforms to secure such participation, and it describes an architecture for adding trust management to the exchange of media to and from a smartphone user.
