The design of a cylindrical injector

The equations for a cylindrical injector have been deduced from simple momentum considerations, and a design formula, based upon those equations, has been suggested. Series of experiments, specially designed to verify this formula, have been described, leading to the conclusion that the formula can be used for predicting the ratio of the velocities of the primary and the induced secondary streams if use is made of a couple of empirical coefficients whose values have been deduced from the experimental data.
