The study on clustering algorithm of the underwater acoustic sensor networks

Hierarchical structure is adopted for underwater acoustic sensor network in the big-scale condition to organize and manage the network commonly, but the forming and maintenance of the hierarchical structure depend on the clustering algorithm which affects the performance of the network. In this paper a conventional clustering algorithm - LEACH is introduced, based on the algorithm improvement is done, and the simulation results show that the improved clustering algorithm enhance the stability and energy utilization of the network.
