Modelos para la elaboración de materiales hipermedia adaptativos para el aprendizaje

The development of Adaptive Hypermedia Systems, in general, necessarily considers determining which models they should be define and what aspects are consider in each one of them. At the same time, it is necessary to determine the methods and techniques of adaptation that will allow the adjustments to the specific characteristics of the users. In the specific case of the systems dedicated to facilitate learning activities, they should be consider another type of elements, like they are the involved learning types, the application kind that is wanted to develop and the characteristics of the students to take into account; all this with the purpose of designing an effective adaptation in according of several instructional strategies, in line with the prospective learning and the particularities of the students. The description of some examples of systems developed with educational ends and general pedagogic models that have been elaborated for this type of systems are also analyzed. Finally, some conclusions and projections settle down for future research works in the area of Adaptive Hypermedia Educational Systems. ii DPTOIA-IT-2003-003
