Analysis of Screen Resolution According to Gaze Estimation in the 3D Space

This paper proposes the optimum interpretation of screen resolution of gaze estimation according to the position in the 3D space between a user and a camera. The screen resolution is directly related to the moving distance of the pupil by pixels from end to end of a display. Also, the relationship of the 3D position between a user and a camera influences on the moving distance, and the screen resolution is decided. In this paper, by the technology of gaze estimation using single camera, the maximum screen resolution by the 3D position is shown. The accuracy of gaze estimation using the maximum screen resolution is the accuracy of average 68.39%. This paper suggests the maximum screen resolution that shows more than 90% of accuracy by the control of screen resolution.
