A gift package which accommodates drive circuit and adapted to receive a gift item, said gift package: a box body (2) defining an interior space (20) and having an open end (21) defining an access opening (210), and a partition plate (23) dividing said interior space (20) in first and second (201, 202) chambers, said first chamber (201) being adapted to accommodate the article being adapted such partition plate (23) to bear against the article, said box body (2) of a cover (3) to cover and uncover said access opening (210) of said box body (2) being provided; an output signal (300) mounted in said second chamber (202) for generating at least one audio and video signals; a control circuit including a circuit board (51) fixedly mounted in said second chamber (202) and provided with a controller (52) which is electrically coupled to said drive signal output (300) for controlling activation and deactivation of said signal output unit (300); and a drive unit circuit including a switch (4) which is electrically coupled to said control circuit, which is mounted on said box body (2), and operable through selected of said cover (3) and article such that, by performing an operation selected from operations uncover said access opening (210) and remove the article from said partition plate (23), allow said controller (52) activates said drive signal output ( 300) through said switch (4); wherein said drive circuit further includes a pair of conductive lines (41) extending between and interconnecting said switch (4) and said circuit board (51) so that the connection and the electrical disconnection between said conductive lines ( 41), corresponding respectively to the activation and deactivation of said signal output unit (300) is controlled by said switch (7) through said controller (52); characterized in that said partition plate (23) is movably mounted in said interior space (20) in said box body (2) so that the placement of the article in said partition plate (23) and removing the article from said plate dividing (23) respectively result in downward movement and upward of said partition plate (23) which, in turn, give rise respectively to the activation and deactivation of said signal output unit (300).
