The relation among the power efficiency,brightness,life service and the pressure of the high voltage sodium lamp are expounded.The analyses on the working principle and energy-saving mode of intelligent device such as the rapid response of energy to the voltage fluctuation of electric net,automatic stabilization of voltage of closed loop,controllable smooth slow adjustment of voltage.The current of intelligent lighting is almost equal to the rated one during the soft starting and operation.Thus it can not only save a large amount of energy,but also prolong the service life of the lamp.The centralized and remote control scheme for the container yard are also discussed.
