Synthesis of eco-industrial system considering environmental value using adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithms

Abstract This paper elaborates the establishment of the model of eco-industrial system including selection of members, environmental value and construction of eco-industrial chains. The model is formulated into a large-scale mixed integer non-linear programming (MINLP) problem. The hybrid adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm (ASAGA) is proposed to solve the problem of synthesis of eco-industrial system. A case study shows that the model is applicable and the ASAGA algorithm is effective.
