Influence of bacterial growth on the forms of cadmium in defined culture media

This study undertakes to investigate the uptake of cadmium in three different culture media by a bacterium isolated from activated sludge and to evaluate the use of gel filtration chromatography for the identification of changes in the form of the metal resulting from bacterial growth.
