A Filter-Based Format Conversion Approach

We have instinctively good knowledge of the procedure of optimization because of our constant exposure to it. In this paper we propose a filter-based deinterlacing approach utilizing optimization for training approximations. We take into account the minimization of the cost function and try to minimize this function. A comprehensive research of deinterlacing performance and system complexity is conducted and evaluated. Based on the results, it is obvious that the proposed application on deinterlacing is superior to the other methods.
