Calculation and experimental verification of spatial resolution consistency on Petzval image plane of streak tube

Abstract With the expanded application of streak cameras in various fields, their imaging performance has become increasingly important, particularly in the detection and imaging processing of all types of extremely fast and unrepeatable events, and the consistency of detection in such cameras also determines their usage efficiency. In this study, to improve the detection efficiency of a streak camera, the resolution consistency of the streak tube on the Petzval image plane was verified for the first time based on both principle and testing, the results of which should provide ideas for future studies on ways to effectively reconstruct the original image from a single image.
