Study on Space Segment Networking Technology of LEO Satellite Mobile Communication Systems

This paper first analyses the space segment networking function and features of LEO satellite constellation mobile communication system,with routing and switching technologies of constellation network emphasized.A routing and switching scheme for LEO satellites mobile communication system to support voice service is proposed.In this scheme,the constellation network uses the fixed length cell switch mechanism,and adopts the topology snapshot static routing strategy with dynamic topology discretization.By integrating the static routing off-line calculation method with the fixed cell switching technology,the network switching efficiency and forwarding rate are greatly improved.
