Design and experimental of simulation system and algorithm for drilling control

In order to investigate mechanism of drilling control thoroughly,the simulation system was established,which consisted of computer,signal detection and processing module,driller,power station,proportional solenoid valves and so on.By using of sensor,signal processing circuit,PCI interface board and data analysis software,the technical problems of real-time detection,acquisition and processing of drilling parameters were solved.Based on this,the improved PID and Fuzzy-PID algorithm were used to realize the closed loop control of thrust force,rotational speed and penetration rate.The results indicate that the simulation system of drilling control has fast dynamic response,high control accuracy and strong anti-jamming capability,and the maximum error is controlled within about 10%,so it has the favorable functions of monitoring and controlling the drilling parameters and drilling process,and successfully realizes the prospective controlling objective.
