Low cost disposable autonomous vehicles

The paper describes technologies available for autonomous vehicle systems development. Vehicles in the air, on the ground, under water and space are covered. Hardware developments are illustrated in figures. The notable methodologies of declarative agent programming, formal verification of complete physical/software systems, intelligent power management, MEMS sensors and actuators are listed. The paper descibes cooperation between Cranfield, Liverpool and Southampton universities to provide expertise for the development of low cost autonomous vehicle systems.
