That the characteristics of higher piezoelectric effect of Cymbal transducer makes it to be an effective approach to obtain novel power.The mechanical stress and electrical potential distributions of Cymbal transducers under resonance and non-resonance alternating force were novelty analyzed with the Finite Element Method(FEM).The simulation results showed that the short-circuit voltage under the alternating force with resonance frequency is higher.The generated stress is so higher that Cymbal transducer becomes invalid.Meanwhile,the transducer can normally work under the equal force with lower frequency.The alternating voltage can be obtained with certain amplitude and the same frequency as the alternating force.That makes Cymbal transducer to be possible for energy harvesting as piezoelectric element in common lower frequency vibration sources.
