The invention discloses a method and device for measuring the distance of a mobile terminal. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a channel detection signal sent by the mobile terminal; determining a channel estimation result according to the channel detection signal; calculating the received signal power of the channel detection signal according to the channel estimation result; and determining the distance of the mobile terminal according to the received signal power. Due to adoption of the method, the distance of the mobile terminal can be measured more accurately; and furthermore, the method is simple and difficultly interfered by other factors.
