Advanced AMRF-AEM based tumor detection colony technique

An advanced AMRF-AEM ant based algorithm for segmentation has been proposed to detect the tumor in brain. We have studied the performance of the Scanned MRI image using ants count, Computation time and iterations was calculated number of times. The proposed algorithm reduces the computation times nearly to 50%. Individual ant constructs a candidate partition, by a relaxation labeling with respect to the contextual constraints. After some iteration, the partition representing the optimum value of the energy function is obtained, which is used to detect the brain tumor in the shortest path. The developed algorithm for image segmentation results show that quality solutions for identification of brain tumour. The results are compared with other methods like genetic algorithms.
