Role-based secure authorization model for trusted digital rights management

Current static pre-authorization method for digital rights management can not effectively protect digital resources from illegal use without rights constraints.A role-based dynamic authorization model was developed for trusted digital rights management(rDRM),in which a license definited finite automation based on license authorization, revocation, and transformation strategies was adopted to maintain the license status. This efficient authorization method overcomes the difficulties of strategy expression, management, and reliability in traditional methods. The proposed rDRM is suitable for digital rights management with large numbers of users and is scalable to prevent illegal copying and spreading of digital contents.
