Finite Element Simulation of Interference Fit

Simulate the stress of interference fitted assembles by using ADINA software.Establish the dynamic finite model by analyzing the characteristics of material,simplifying the construction of model,adopting “hot assembly” method.In order to restrain the z-direction movement of the shaft,using spring restraint on two axis’ ends of the shaft,and spring restraint is effective before the shaft is contacted with the hub.The equivalent stress plot of interference fit is acquired by running the program.
