When range-Doppler algorithm is used in bistatic ISAR, image distortion may occur, which will affect the subsequent target recognition. Aiming at the problem, this paper proposed a bistatic ISAR image distortion correction method based on phase compensation. The intrinsic cause of image distortion is analyzed from the imaging mechanism, and the image distortion is eliminated by constructing a compensation phase term. The algorithm of this paper can complete the distortion correction without calculating the distortion angle of the image, and the scatter point of the corrected image does not have the phenomenon of lobes splitting, which is obviously superior to the existing algorithm. Simulation comparison experiments show the superiority of the proposed algorithm.
