Study on Modeling of Communication Channel of UAV

It is essential to study a statistical model for UAV(Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle) communication channel for the design and performance analysis of data link for UAV. Based on different situation and environment of flight, the communication propagation channel model included large scale fading model and small scale fading model. This paper analyzes interrelated parameters and PDF (probability density function) of parameters. Discussed the performance of large scale fading as well as small scale fading, according to roughness path loss and free-space loss theoretic, the uniform UAV channel model has been designed, which is fit to different environment.
