Intelligent Lighting Control System Based on Zigbee Communication Technique

Traditional lighting systems are out dated and have lost lot of energy. These systems must be replaced with intelligent systems and can sense their environment (i.e. sense light and temperature and moisture...).To realize necessities of such a system subjective experiments must be led to a practical test bed. At first, the state-of-the-art solutions of different street light systems in the literature are described then the design of an intelligent light system is proposed which nodes can communicate with other nodes. These nodes can work alone or together in the network. Also they are flexible to use. All nodes can show voltage and current and their own power consumption and have ability to drive both sodium lamp of high pressure and high power LEDs. These nodes can detect pedestrian from sensor array (PIR, US, IR).
