Multi-rate coherent burst-mode PDM-QPSK optical receiver for flexible optical networks

We numerically investigate a PDM-QPSK multi-rate coherent burst-mode optical receiver capable of receiving 3 different line-rates. The line-rate detection algorithm has low implementation complexity and is insensitive to polarization rotations and frequency offset.
