The MPPT Improved Algorithm and Simulation under Changing Irradiance of Grid-Connected PV Systems

In this paper,the simulation model program of photovoltaic cells array under changing irradiance was written by S-function in MATLAB software,and a module map of three-phase grid-connected PV system was built.Then,the traditional MPPT algorithms and the improved methods of PO and InCond were analyzed.The local and the overall relative error and variance were compared by analyzing the tracking simulation curves of these algorithms.Finally,a practical MPPT algorithm with good characteristics was got.Due to the simulation analysis using the three-phase grid PV power system,the conclusions would be more suitable for practical application as a reference.
