Cooling element for gases.

The cooling element consists of an inner channel (1) and a plurality of the inner channel (1) surrounding the outer channels (2) which are of an outer casing (3) is surrounded, at least one first nozzle (8) for the coolant supply and at least (a second nozzle 9 ) for the coolant removal. At one end (1 ') of the inner channel (1) is fixed one on one arranged perpendicularly to the flow direction of the gases flap shaft (6), flap (5). On this side, the cooling element has an external flange (4) on to said outer casing (3), this is finally connected. The flap shaft (6) with bearings (7) for the flap shaft (6) which are arranged in the outer shell (3) rotatably mounted. The subject is also the use of the cooling element for cooling of exhaust gases of a motor vehicle.
