Night vision goggles

The goggles are for general consumer use and employ independent interpupillary and diopter adjustments for each eye. The adjustment mechanism incorporates manually operable control knobs 16, 18 located on the housing 11B, 11T, one knob for each of the eye pieces 12, 13. Each knob is capable of moving both in a forward and rear mode to provide diopter focus adjustment and in a transverse mode to provide interpupillary adjustment. The movement of the knob and the removal of pressure or force from the knob enables the optical assemblies to be secured in position by a friction fit.
