ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE IN THE CONTROL OF GLOMERULAR MICROCIRCULATINO

1. Nitric oxide (NO) plays an important role in the control of glomerular haemodynamics and is synthesized from the amino acid L‐arginine by a family of enzymes, NO synthase (NOS).
